The aim of the workshop is to focus on the development and use of integrated ICT-based solutions to reduce the environmental impacts of urban activities at both the city and the global level. These ICT solutions are designed to <span id=\"d7eac62d-556c-4959-b123-044f5db0b76a\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">optimise<\/span> the use and management of urban infrastructure and natural resources &#8212; including energy efficiency and <span id=\"ab0338dc-d657-47d4-ae19-6e396f343083\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">renewables<\/span>, water, transport, and land use planning &#8212; as well as to address pollution (water, air, soil, noise) and waste.<\/p>\n<p>Francesco NIGLIA will be presenting<span> <\/span>the latest results of the European GENESYS project focusing on Good practices for European developers of advanced ICT-enabled energy-efficiency Systems.
