Jerzy Buzek, the President of the European Parliament and prof. Pawe\u0142 G\u00f3rski, the President of the Medical University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The aim of conference\u00a0was to encourage Polish researchers to apply for European funds and in particular to use the opportunities given by FP7\u00a0stimulating \u00a0a dynamic development of Polish science.\u00a0<br \/> The audience was lectured on the ways of finding information, training and advice as regards with applying for FP7 grants, how to prepare and submit a proposal and how to plan a budget. This information was given by Anna Pytko, representant of the Regional Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU at the University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, dr Ewa Szki\u0142\u0105d\u017a, expert within the domain of medicine at the National Contact Point, and by representative of the consulting companies with long-standing experience in obtaining medical grants, Ms. Karolina Ko\u015bmi\u0144ska from TECHIN and Mr. Alberto Sciuto from INNOVA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The workshop \u201cHow to obtain FP7 funds for research in the field of medicine and health\u201d was organized by the Medical University in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, together with the National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU in cooperation with Regional Contact Point at the University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a.
